The Swedish Institute (SI) is a public agency that promotes interest in, and builds trust for, Sweden around the world. SI works with culture, education, science, and business to strengthen international relations and development. The Swedish contribution to international industries helps boost local economies and create job opportunities in partner countries. For all its innovation, Sweden still reveres values such as democracy, openness, and freedom of expression.
THE SWEDISH INSTITUTE’S CORE ACTIVITIES INVOLVE
analyzing how foreign target groups perceive Sweden and how this affects opportunities for Swedish actors abroad;
providing expert support to both private and public actors wishing to communicate the image of Sweden and Swedish skills;
spreading information about Swedish values and experience in the fields of innovation, sustainability, business, culture, and creativity; and
actively promoting mobility for students, researchers, and skilled labor to and from Sweden.
