Bringing happiness and color to every corner of the world since 2008, Happy Socks brings style to toes and puts smiles on faces across the globe with its colorful and creative collections of quality socks.

Founders Viktor Tell and Mikael Söderlindh set out to launch Happy Socks in 2008 with just an order of 60 000 socks. Since then, the company has sold more than 70 million items, turning an everyday essential into a colorful design piece with a rigid standard of ultimate quality, craftsmanship, and creativity.

Headquartered in Stockholm, with Happy Offices in New York, Munich, and Istanbul, the brand’s global reach is also extended through a network of partner distributors in more than 30 locations across the world.

The brand opened its first store in 2010, reaching 15 by 2017, including two in the US— in Los Angeles and New York. Since then, the brand has opened over 100 more stores, three of which are in Los Angeles and five in New York, for a total of 135. The aim is to add another 100 stores by 2023, in addition to targeting 150 pop-ups yearly in key locations.

The brand’s enormous growth has allowed it to expand into several categories, including gifting and kids. In 2016, the brand launched its first women-focused, premium brand of socks, Hysteria, followed by Dressed, a premium concept for men. In the summer of 2019, it launched swimwear, faced by David Hasselhoff, with a campaign titled The Hoff’s Day Off.

Over the years, the brand has collaborated with inspirational brands, industry icons, and world-renowned artists and actors. Happy Socks believes that life is nothing without creativity, and creativity that bounds from thinking differently is what makes the magic happen.
